STEVE GIANNETTI

Steve Giannetti graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Maryland in 1982. He received a fellowship to do reconstruction drawings (published in 1988) and underwater archaeology at the ancient port city of Caeserea, Israel. He is a licensed architect in Maryland and California.

The first years of his practice, a collaboration in Annapolis, Maryland, yielded four AIA awards for projects in both Maryland and South Carolina. He moved to California 1987 to lead the design of the Village on Canon, a 90,000 square foot office and retail complex in Beverly Hills. He founded the office of Giannetti Architects in 1987 with a commitment to excellence in design.

Giannetti's recent projects include a 12,000 s.f. Beach house in Malibu, California, a Classical Estate on a Polo Field in Montecito and a 14,500 s.f. hillside Italian Villa in the Palisades. Giannetti specializes in residential commissions where an attention to every detail is paramount.

His reputation for high quality architectural design in addition to a respect for the owner's input has yielded Giannetti a loyal clientele. The ability to bring a creative design approach to commissions of any scale has created an impressive portfolio of projects.

BROOKE GIANNETTI

Brooke Giannetti's designs express her desire to touch the emotions. Her interiors incorporate her  love of antiques, beautiful fabrics, and classic design infused with a bit of whimsy. She works with her clients to find a unique design vocabulary for each project that will reflect the client's own personality mixed with Brooke's unique design sensibilities. Her attention to detail and her sense of style have won her a loyal clientele.

English fabrics and French antiques frequently inspire her rooms, but her family life with three children helps her understand the demanding and sometimes hectic lives of her clients. Her own family homes were both nationally published and serve as a canvas for her to explore her design ideas.

She frequently collaborates on Architectural projects with husband Steve Giannetti providing clients with full Architectural, Interior Design and Landscape services. Current projects include a 10,000 square foot Georgian home overlooking the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, a 9,000 square foot Moroccan courtyard home in Pasadena,  and a contemporary Condominium with spectacular views of Vancouver Harbor.

GIANNETTI HOME
Giannetti Home is a new kind of store. As Architects and Designers, we had a vision of a place where the creative energy was part of the retail experience. We design where you shop and find our inspiration from Belgium, Italy, France and the vintage industrial workplace. We love objects that feel real and simple and show the patina of age; wood in its natural state, the rusted finish of old machinery, guilding that is a bit past its prime and the faded leather of timeworn books. We built Giannetti Home to bring all the things we love together and to provide a window into our design philosophy.
