The Water Series was done between to explore the ever changing character of the waters surface. The first in the series were painted looking out over a small harbor ... the reflection of a mast barely visible. Later paintings were done from memory, blending Images of sea and air, inspired by the view from airplanes of the atmosphere. The numbers reflect the rough sequence that the works were done.
